Sugarledge Stone Quarry was founded in 1983 by Rick and Sharyn Lafontaine. It is currently owned and operated by
Jonathan and Carrie Cranston. The land parcel has been in Carrie's family for five generations. It is a small family business, employing 8 people and operating seasonally, April though November.
Why Natural Stone? Our Goshen Stone is real stone. Unlike man-made or "cultured" stone, it looks better and won't fade over time. It's more environmentally friendly, using a much lower
carbon footprint to produce. Natural stone lasts longer and often costs less than cultured stone. Why settle for faux stone made from a mold when you can have the real thing?
